Four arrests in Grand Forks DUI crackdownGRAND FORKS – A weekend crackdown here on drinking and driving netted four arrests for driving under the influence.
All four came from saturation patrols conducted Friday and Saturday by the North Dakota Highway Patrol and Grand Forks County Sheriff’s Office.
The highway patrol and sheriff’s office also conducted a sobriety checkpoint from 8 to 9:45 Friday night. Of the 158 drivers that passed through, 13 were checked for drug and alcohol impairment.
None of those were arrested, though one driver was arrested for driving with a suspended license.
