Van Nevel promoted at Spherion Staffing

Spherion Staffing has promoted Melissa Van Nevel to office manager for the North Dakota operation. Spherion has offices in Fargo, Bismarck and Minot.

Van Nevel has been with Spherion for nine years and is a graduate of Concordia College with a bachelor’s degree in business and office administration.

Northridge Hospitality hires regional director

Northridge Hospitality Management has hired Bob Margheim as regional director.

He has more than 15 years of hospitality experience.

Northridge Hospitality Management owns and operates hotels and offers property management services throughout the region, including Fargo, Grand Forks, Bismarck and Thief River Falls, Minn.

Broden promoted at Ramsey National

Marcie Broden has been promoted to human re-source officer at Ramsey National Bank.

She has been with the bank for 15 years as a trust receptionist and was most recently trust operations and administrative assistant.

The bank has offices in Devils Lake, Cando, Cavalier, Esmond, Fargo, Maddock and Rugby, all in North Dakota. Broden works in the Devils Lake office.

Buggert hired at Early Intervention Partners

Early Intervention Partners, 3060 Frontier Way S., Fargo, has hired Dani Buggert as an early interventionist. She will provide education and support for daily living to families and children up to age 3 with special needs.

She was previously a teacher with Clay-Wilkin Head Start.

Buggert earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a minor in early childhood education at Valley City (N.D.) State University. She is attending the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, where she is pursuing a master’s degree in early childhood special education.

Moore Engineering hires 3 in West Fargo office

Moore Engineering, West Fargo, has hired Andrea Hulzebos as an administrative assistant, David Elliott as a MicroStation technician and Steve Holm as a professional land surveyor

Hulzebos received an associate degree as an administrative assistant and an associate degree in art from Minnesota State Community and Technical College, Moorhead. She was previously employed at Essentia Health.

Elliott worked for 10 years as a help desk manager for Bentley Systems. He is also a certified instructor.

Holm received an associate degree in civil engineering and technology from MSCTC, Detroit Lakes. He is a registered surveyor in North Dakota and South Dakota and was most recently employed by Ulteig in Detroit Lakes, Minn. He also worked for Moore Engineering from 2004 to 2006.

Houston Engineering hires Talago, O’Brien

Houston Engineering’s Fargo office has hired Joe Talago as a designer and Sean O’Brien as a geographic information systems technician.

Talago is a certified professional engineer in North Dakota, Wyoming and Indiana. He is a native of Montana and Wyoming, and graduated from the University of Wyoming with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Talago previously worked for the North Dakota Department of Transportation, Yellowstone National Park and the Indiana DOT.

O’Brien is originally from Minneapolis and graduated from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, with a bachelor’s degree in geography and a master’s degree in GIS. He previously worked for the city of St. Paul Planning and Economic Development Department.

Nachatilo joins Essentia neurosurgery section

Essentia Health Clinic on 32nd Avenue South, Fargo, has hired nurse practitioner Nichole Nacha-tilo in

the neurosurgery department.

She earned a master’s degree in nursing with an emphasis on family practice from the University of Mary, Bismarck.

Nachatilo’s prior experience includes working as an acute dialysis and critical care nurse at Essentia Health in Fargo and as a clinical nurse manager, coordinating care for and treating home dialysis patients.

Wiest hired as Butler service technician

Butler Machinery Co., Fargo, has hired John “JJ” Wiest as a service technician.

Wiest earned a diesel and hydraulic degree from Minnesota State Community and Technical College, Moorhead. He previously worked overseas as an oil rig mechanic supervisor.

Dahl appointed clinical lead for MedSmart study

PioneerLink, Fergus Falls, Minn., has appointed Margaret Dahl as clinical lead for its Med-Smart Collaborative, a study to test the effectiveness of technology-based home medication management.

The MedSmart device dispenses medication, provides reminders and can transmit dosing history to a home care provider, caregiver or family member by text message, email or voice.

Dahl is a registered nurse and has previously worked with PioneerCare on other projects including transitional management of Lakeland Hospice and Homecare, and work with PioneerCare Center staffing, policy development and compliance.

Before joining PioneerCare, she worked at Bethany Retirement Living and Hospice of the Red River Valley, both in Fargo, and at Luther Memorial Home, Mayville, N.D.

Three hired at Choice Financial locations

Andrea Burkhart has joined Choice Financial as retail development manager at the branch at 4501 23rd Ave. S., Fargo, Shelley Szudera has been hired as an integrated marketing and design specialist at the operations center in Fargo, and Matthew Beneke has joined the bank as a frontline customer service representative at the branch at 210 Sheyenne St., West Fargo.

Burkhart has more than 20 years of banking experience including location manager, district retail manager and most recently regional private banker. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Szudera has several years of graphic design experience including graphic designer and associate art director for Future Plus in San Francisco. She earned a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from MSUM.

Beneke has previous retail experience and is attending North Dakota State University, where he is studying finance.

Hasbargen hired as TMI treasury manager

TMI Hospitality, Fargo, has hired Jon Hasbargen as treasury manager.

Hasbargen was previously a treasury analyst with Otter Tail Corp., and a financial analyst with U.S. Bank.

He graduated with a degree in accounting from the Minnesota School of Business and is a certified treasury professional.

First International Bank promotes one, hires one

First International Bank & Trust has promoted Eric Hull to personal banker at the West Fargo location, and Kelby Jennissen has been hired as a personal banker at the south Fargo location.

Hull graduated from Concordia College with a degree in business. He has worked at First International Bank & Trust for more than two years as a customer service representative and teller.

Jennissen graduated from Concordia College with a degree in accounting.

John Deere Electronic Solutions hires three

John Deere Electronic Solutions, Fargo, has hired Gopi Dahal and Robert Neuheisel as production specialists, and Christian Roise has been named material handler.

Cheney appointed new financial representative

Aubree Cheney has been appointed as a new financial representative by Northwestern Mutual. She will be associated with the Northwestern Mutual Gore Network in Fargo.

She was previously a customer service representative at VISIONBank, Fargo. A native of Frazee, Minn., Cheney earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Minnesota School of Business.

Quamme hired as investment executive

Dougherty and Co., Fargo, has hired Chad Quamme as an investment executive.

He has more than 11 years of experience in the financial services industry with an emphasis on personal financial planning.

Quamme graduated from Concordia College with degrees in economics and philosophy, and previously worked for Wells Fargo Investments and UBS.

WF Soccer Club hires director of coaching

Danny Dougherty has been hired as director of coaching for the West Fargo Soccer Club.

He has been interim director and has coached with the club for the past two years.

Dougherty has coached at the high school level for 11 years, the club level for nine years and as an assistant coach at North Dakota State University.

He is currently an assistant and goalkeeper coach at Minnesota State University Moorhead. Dougherty has also served three years as president of the North Dakota Youth Soccer Association.
