Just about had it with KVLY TVFirst it was Charlie Johnson, then Robin Huebner, and now the coat issue.
How many times does one person or company have to shoot themselves in the foot before they get the message?
Something is not right here, and it is not even necessary to watch KVLY news anymore, because nearly every day they have a newsworthy event happening at their own studios that makes the local paper.
I discontinued watching Channel 11 news several months ago and am so glad that Charlie and Robin have both found much better fits for both of them.
Now all we as a community have to do is find a way to help the needy kids find warm coats for the upcoming winter. It is a shame that the decision to discontinue this program was delayed until the leaves started to fall, as it leaves a very small window for finding another source to pick up the wonderful project of “Coats For Kids.”
Since the collection of coats was a burden on staff, perhaps fewer viewers will lighten the overall load on staff and management.
