Open meeting in Detroit Lakes for Highway 75 projectDETROIT LAKES, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation invites the public to attend a meeting about the Highway 75 Kent bypass project from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Aug. 27 in the Kent Community Center.
The meeting is an opportunity for the public to get an overview of the 2016 project, a MnDOT release stated, including the preliminary design.
MnDOT representatives will be available to answer questions and discuss concerns, and Wilkin County representatives will discuss the project’s impact on nearby county roads.
Repeated highway flooding along Whiskey Creek is the reason for this bypass project, according to the news release.
