YMCA registering fall, winter youth programsThe YMCA of Cass and Clay counties is now registering for all fall and winter youth programs, including swim lessons, basketball, racquetball, flag football, rock climbing, volleyball, gymnastics and more.
Participants can register online, over the phone or in person at either YMCA branch.
The first session begins Sept. 4. Program sessions are typically five weeks long and continue through February. Other examples of youth activities offered are baton twirling, martial arts and skate club.
Registration is also open for the YMCA’s before and after school programming. YMCA School Age Learning Centers are located at several area schools, and transportation is provided to and from school locations without on-site centers. Students in these programs receive homework assistance, work on group projects, attend field trips and explore their interests.
