Heyer Engineering hires engineer, drafter

Heyer Engineering, Fargo, has hired Rachel Poitra as a structural engineer and Terri Maki as a structural computer-aided designer and drafter.

Poitra graduated from North Dakota State University with bachelor degrees in math education and civil engineering. She previously worked for five years at Daktronics, Brookings, S.D.

Maki attended Minnesota State University Moorhead and Hennepin Technical College, Minneapolis. She previously worked for six years as a structural design technician with Ellerbe Becket/AECOM.

Ryan Steckler joins Northwestern Mutual

Ryan Steckler has been appointed a financial representative by Northwestern Mutual, Fargo. He will be associated with the Gores Network, Fargo.

Steckler, a native of Breckenridge, Minn., received a degree in economics from Concordia College.

Aaron M. Zinter named Master Chorale director

The Master Chorale of Fargo-Moorhead has appointed Aaron M. Zinter as director of music.

Zinter is also director of music at Fargo Oak Grove Lutheran School. He is a graduate of Concordia College and received a master’s degree in choral directing from Illinois State University, Normal.

He previously was director of music ministries at Second Presbyterian Church, Bloomington, Ill., and directed and managed the Chancel Choir United States Mission Tour across the U.S. and Canada.

Two new hires at NetWork Center

NetWork Center Inc., Fargo, has hired Angie Ryan as marketing director and Kelly Kittelson as a network system analyst.

Ryan graduated from Concordia College with a bachelor’s degree in organization communications. She has more than eight years of marketing experience.

Kittelson has more than 15 years of experience working with enterprise level technology solutions.

Implementation Specialists hires three

Implementation Specialists Inc., Hawley, Minn., has hired Tyler Olsen as customer service manager, Mike Moe as business development manager and Judy Eriksson as account manager.

Olsen is from Lake Park, Minn., and attended St. Cloud (Minn.) State University. He has more than five years of sales and marketing experience.

Moe is a native of Aberdeen, S.D., where he attended Northern State University. He has 10 years of experience in marketing and special projects.

Eriksson, originally from Crookston, Minn., has 13 years of business-to-business sales experience and a background in advertising and marketing.

Tim Sparks hired as applications consultant

DFC Consultants, Fargo, has hired Tim Sparks as an applications consultant.

Sparks graduated from the University of North Florida with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

He was previously employed as a staff accountant and warehouse management software supervisor at Hickory Foods, Jacksonville, Fla.

State Bank and Trust hires Waller, Larson

Paula Waller has been hired as vice president/mortgage officer at State Bank and Trust, Pelican Rapids, Minn., and Derek Larson has been hired as a credit officer at State Bank and Trust in Fargo.

Waller earned an associate degree in business and has more than 14 years of mortgage loan experience. She previously worked for Midwest Minnesota Community Development Corp., Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and Lakes Country State Bank.

Larson earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, and has worked in the banking field for five years, most recently with Anchor Bancorp, Minneapolis.

Jose Sanchez added to children’s services team

Lakeland Mental Health Center, Moorhead, has added Jose Sanchez to its children’s services team.

Sanchez received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Minnesota State University Moorhead.

His previous experience includes working as a community officer for the Fargo Police Department and as a family advocate for the Clay County Collaborative.

Heller joins AE2S as project manager

Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services has hired Jared Heller as a project manager in the firm’s Fargo office.

Heller has more than eight years of experience in the design and management of various regional water and wastewater projects.

He previously worked at Moorhead Public Service as a water distribution engineer and as a project engineer and design engineer for Ulteig Engineers.

Heller has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from North Dakota State University and is pursuing a master’s degree in civil engineering.

Engineering firm hires three in Fargo office

Karges-Faulconbridge Inc. has hired Nate Kirkeby as a mechanical engineer, Brian Stich as a senior electrical engineer and Nolan Braseth as a mechanical project engineer. All three will work in the firm’s Fargo office.

Kirkeby has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, and has more than 15 years of experience.

Stich graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and has more than 20 years of experience.

Braseth has a bachelor’s degree in agricultural and biosystems engineering from NDSU.

Speral joins Minn-Kota American Red Cross

Lynn Speral has been named regional chief development officer with the Minn-Kota Region of the American Red Cross.

Speral has served as the director of development for the Rape and Abuse Crisis Center in Fargo since 2007. She also previously was marketing director for DMS Health Technologies and a radiologic technologist at the former St. Luke’s Hospital in Fargo (now Sanford Health).

Speral fills the Red Cross role that Sandy Glas held for three years before transitioning to Red Cross regional chief operations officer.

TMI Hospitality hires construction manager

TMI Hospitality, Fargo, has hired Jaime Johnson as a construction superintendent.

Johnson has several years of experience renovating hotels and served for three years as corporate director of engineering for numerous Marriott and Hilton properties.

Johnson has worked in hotel construction since 1984 as a framing and finish contractor, and as a construction superintendent.

Ulteig hires three in Fargo office

Ulteig Engineers, Fargo, has hired David Landecker as market leader in land services, Aaron Skattum as a land surveyor and Eileen Hess as market development manager-power industry.

Landecker earned an associate’s degree in architectural and construction technology from Anoka (Minn.) Technical College. He is a licensed professional land surveyor in North Dakota and Minnesota and previously owned his own business.

Skattum earned an associate’s degree in civil engineering technology from Minnesota State Community and Technical College and is a licensed professional land surveyor in North Dakota and South Dakota. He previously worked as a land surveyor for Kadrmas, Lee & Jackson.

Hess has an associate’s degree in construction management and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. She has more than 20 years of professional technical sales experience in the industrial, commercial, utility and construction industries, having worked for EE Enterprises, GarrettCom, Anixter, Southwire and Westinghouse.

First International hires HR generalist, recruiter

LeAnn Moos has joined First International Bank and Trust in Fargo as a human resources generalist and recruiter.

Moos graduated from the University of Mary with a bachelor’s degree in business management with a concentration in human resources.

One promoted, two hired at VISIONBank

VISIONBank, Fargo, has promoted Theresa Reitan to senior loan services specialist. Teri Weigel and Lisa Pavek have joined the bank as loan processors.

Reitan has been with VISIONBank for nine years.

Weigel has 30 years of banking experience and is a graduate of Interstate Business College.

Pavek has 18 years of banking experience and graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Vanity corporate hires three, eVanity hires one

Vanity’s corporate office in Fargo has hired Ashley Groenke as a fit and production assistant, Kelli Erhardt as an allocator and Amy Flaten as payroll coordinator. Teresa Radtke joins eVanity as a customer order specialist.

Groenke has alter/repair, textile cataloging and retail experience with the Germans from Russia Heritage Collection, Emily Reynolds Historic Costume Collection and White Banner Uniforms. She graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in apparel, retail merchandising and design, and a minor in business administration.

Erhardt previously worked at David’s Bridal and Pacific Sunwear. She graduated from NDSU with a bachelor’s degree in apparel, retail merchandising and design, and a minor in business administration.

Flaten has payroll experience from Spherion Staffing. She graduated from the University of Mary with a bachelor’s degree in management.

Radtke has customer service experience from Building Gurus, Minnesota Relay and Zorbaz. She graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.

Essentia Health names PA, nurse practitioners

Nikki Welk has joined Essentia Health in Fargo as a physician assistant in the emergency medicine department, Kelli Eriksson, a nurse practitioner, has joined the 32nd Avenue Clinic general surgery team, and Jessica R. Kuhn has been named a nurse practitioner in the pediatrics department at the South University Clinic.

Welk received a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks. She also has a bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy from the University of Mary. She previously was a respiratory therapist for Essentia Health and St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck.

Eriksson received a master’s degree in nursing from UND. She previously worked as a family nurse practitioner at the St. Cloud (Minn.) VA Health Care System and Milwaukee County Jail, and as a registered nurse at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minn.

Kuhn earned a doctorate degree in nursing with a focus on caring for children with special health care needs from the University of Minnesota. She has worked as a pediatric and neonatal care nurse at Essentia for the past eight years.

R.D. Offutt companies hire Denny, Willert

Tricia Denny has been hired as the human resources adviser for R.D. Offutt Co., and Erik Willert was named a financial planning analyst for RDO Equipment Co.,

Denny has a background in human resources and worked for the past seven years at PepsiCo Foodservice in Fargo as a human resource generalist and a human resource manager. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business and office administration at Concordia College.

Willert previously worked for Conwood Sales Co. as a territory sales manager and e previously worked for seven years as a financial analyst at Geneva Capital, Alexandria, Minn. He has a bachelor’s degree in marketing and finance from St. Cloud (Minn.) State University.

Brown, Liu join Lillestol Research in Fargo

Lillestol Research, Fargo, has hired Jamie Brown has as director of operations and Alexander Liu as a clinical research associate.

Brown earned a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse-Gundersen Lutheran-Mayo Physician Assistant Program. She has more than four years of experience as a physician assistant, practicing in the neurology department at Sanford Health, Fargo.

Liu has a bachelor’s degree in health care administration from Concordia College and an associate of applied science degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Eide Bailly promotes six to manager level

Eide Bailly has promoted Ashley Brandt-Duda, Jason Dunn, Jackie Engquist, Tom Fogarty, Brian Jung and Dan LeClair to the manager level in the Fargo office.

Brandt-Duda is a certified public accountant and has been with Eide Baily since 2005. She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting, management information science and business administration with a concentration in financial planning and services from Jamestown (N.D.) College.

Dunn is also a CPA and has been with the firm since 2007. He has a bachelor of accountancy degree from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks.

Engquist has more than 35 years of banking experience and is a graduate of the North Dakota School of Banking. She has been with Eide Bailly since 2009.

Fogarty is a CPA and has been with the firm since 2007. Fogarty has a bachelor of accountancy degree from UND and a master’s degree from North Dakota State University.

Jung is a CPA and has been with the firm since 2007. He has a bachelor of accountancy degree from UND.

LeClair, CPA, has been with Eide Bailly since 2008. He is a graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Freitag hired as quality assurance engineer

David Freitag has been hired as a quality assurance engineer at Intelligent InSites, Fargo.

Freitag has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from North Dakota State University.

He previously worked at Echelon and has experience in software development.
