Great garden tour in FargoOn July 31, 45 members of the Fergus Falls Area Garden Club stopped in Fargo on their annual bus tour of gardens. The green thumb crew visited the Northern Plains Botanical Garden late that day, hosted by the Society’s Jim Anderson and Jackie Williams, and visited the alphabet, butterfly and woodland gardens. Wonderful!
But what we most enjoyed we won’t see for a few years yet – the Japanese-style “Garden of Mind and Soul.” The excitement shared by Anderson and Williams in telling us of the plans for the botanical oasis was contagious, and we have become supporting members.
Thanks for welcoming Fergus Falls area gardeners to the project, and we look forward to checking in on your progress during coming visits.
Dunlap is president of the Fergus Falls Area Garden Club.
