Frank Gross for Clay CountyThis is why I am voting for Frank Gross for Clay County commissioner. We moved to Dilworth in March 1998. Frank and LaVonne Gross live just north of us. In 14 years we have gotten to know them pretty well. Frank is always lending me tools and lending others his tables and chairs for graduations, etc. He volunteers at his church and enjoys spending time with his family and many friends. He has given my kids rides to football games in Glyndon, where he runs the scoreboard. He also runs the scoreboard for the basketball games.
Gross served on the Dilworth City Council for 12 years. His daughter, Julie Nash, is currently on the Dilworth City Council. Gross served in the Army as a young man and worked for the Postal Service for many years until he retired.
Gross may be retired, but we always see him busy. Gross is a giver, not a taker. Many times he has cleared our driveway with his snowblower when I was at my 24-hour-shift job. That was very helpful as my wife was able to get to work in the morning.
He has been very good to us, and I know he will serve the residents of Clay County well.
