Moorhead burglary suspect arrested minutes later after Fargo car crashMOORHEAD - A man suspected of burglarizing a Moorhead apartment Saturday morning was arrested in north Fargo just minutes later when he was involved in a car accident, the Moorhead Police Department reported.
Moorhead police received a call at 11:10 a.m. of a residential burglary that had just occurred at 1209 20th St. S. The victim told police they found a man they didn’t know inside the apartment, and he left carrying their property once confronted.
The victim gave officers a description of the suspect and the vehicle he left in.
At 11:36 a.m., the vehicle was involved in a car accident in north Fargo. Officers determined Aaron Robert Aberle, 35, had allegedly sold several items stolen from the victim at a local pawn shop just before the crash.
Aberle, who has no permanent address, is being held in the Cass County Jail pending felony charges for first-degree burglary.
