Fargo man accused of sexual assaultFARGO – A man here is being held on a $50,000 bail after allegedly forcing a female acquaintance to have sex and knocking the phone out of her hand while she dialed 911, according to charges filed in Cass County District Court.
Prosecutors here have charged Justin Axelson, 24, with gross sexual imposition and interference with a 911 call, the charges filed Friday read. Both charges are felonies.
According to a police report filed with the charges, the acquaintance was in the home with Axelson about 10 p.m. Thursday. Police say he forced himself on her, pinning her down and ripping her pants off, the report says.
While she was screaming for him to stop, she picked up a phone and tried to dial 911, but he knocked the phone away, police allege.
The woman was able to call police after kicking Axelson in the genitals, the report says.
Axelson told police that nothing sexual happened, the report says.
