Dalrymple appoints Bismarck's Reichert to the North Dakota higher ed board

BISMARCK – Kari Reichart was appointed Friday to an open seat on the state’s Board of Higher Education, Gov. Jack Dalrymple said in a news release.

Reichart, of Bismarck, serves as vice president of people services at National Information Solutions Cooperative in Mandan. She is responsible for managing the technology company’s workforce of more than 900 at four campuses across the country.

She will fill the remaining term of former board member Richie Smith, who recently resigned from the position. The term expires June 2013.

Former Fargo School District Superintendent Rick Buresh and former state Sen. David Nething, R-Jamestown, also were finalists for the open spot on the board.
