West Fargo police arrest juveniles in car break-inWEST FARGO – The West Fargo Police Department arrested a group of juveniles for allegedly breaking into a car here early Saturday morning, Officer Travis Johnson said.
Authorities originally stopped the juveniles at 12:51 a.m. on suspicion of curfew violation on the 800 block of 10th Avenue East.
Shortly after, officers received a call from a homeowner who said he chased off a group of juveniles a few minutes earlier for breaking into his car.
After further investigation and a description by the homeowner, officers determined these were the same juveniles, Johnson said.
The juveniles were then charged with curfew violation and unlawful entry into a motor vehicle.
They were then released to their parents’ custody.
The Police Department would like to remind the public to remove valuables from their vehicles and remember to lock their doors, Johnson said.
