Minot surveying flood-displaced residentsMINOT, N.D. — Minot officials are surveying residents of temporary housing units made available after last year's flood to determine long-term needs.
Federal Emergency Management Agency officials say more than 1,200 of the nearly 2,000 temporary housing units moved to the city last year following the flood are still occupied.
Federal Emergency Management Agency officials say the number of housing units occupied at any one time in Ward County peaked at 1,958.
