Contributions (July 28, 2012)Golf for Kids’ Sake raises over $8,000
Coldwell Banker Commercial First Realty, Fargo, sponsored its annual Golf for Kids’ Sake Tournament on June 14.
More than 100 golfers turned out for the event at The Meadows, Moorhead, and more than $8,500 was raised for the Big Brothers Big Sisters program of The Village Family Service Center, Fargo.
Dance-Fit helps program reach fundraising goal
Dance-Fit in Fargo sponsored a “Shake-It” fundraiser on June 7 for the Jeremiah Program. The event helped the program reach a $5,000 fundraising goal.
The Jeremiah Program is a national nonprofit organization that uses a holistic approach to help families transform from poverty to prosperity.
Dance-Fit has also been sponsoring Jeremiah Program Life Skills courses at the studio.
Plumbing supplies donated to MSCTC
Robert Gibb & Sons, Fargo, has donated $2,200 worth of plumbing supplies to the Minnesota State Community and Technical College Foundation, Moorhead.
The equipment will be used to enhance training for students enrolled in the plumbing technology program.
