Get your own Olympic metals

The summer Olympics begin July 27 in London.

Swimming, gymnastics, track and field, badminton.

Of course, this is reason to cheer for the home team, to hope our athletes end up on the podium swathed in medals galore.

But it’s also a good reason – as if we really needed one – to shop, shop, shop for gold, silver and, um, bronzer.

This limited-edition commemorative Olympic Heavy Medal Collection of three metallic polishes (pictured above) from butter LONDON could transform you (and your nails) into a real winner! The trio is $36 at Nordstrom stores. For info: www.nordstrom.com.

Bracelets from designer Sergio Gutierrez’s Liquid Metal collection are designed to drape your wrist in luxury, the way a silk gown might drape your body. Available at Pink Pump stores in Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills and Royal Oak. Prices of the bracelets shown range from $77 to $125. For info on store locations: www.pinkpump.com.

Of course we’re taking our metal with us on our night out! Evening clutch made from pull tabs and crochet. It’s the Leda from Escama Studio, which works with artisans from Brazil. It’s $145 at Ariana Gallery, www.arianagallery.com . Find more Escama Studio products at www.escamastudio.com .

Everyone looks healthier with a champion’s glow, which is where this bronzer comes in! The Lancome Star Bronzer is $35 at department store Lancome counters – including Lord & Taylor, Macy’s and Nordstrom.
