Clay County archivist to lead S.S. Ruby tourFARGO – The guest speaker on S.S. Ruby tours Sunday is Mark Piehl, Clay County archivist.
The River Rambles series, sponsored by River Keepers, is set for 4, 5, 6 and 7 p.m.
During the 45-minute narrated tour, attendees will learn how North Dakota’s prohibition affected Moorhead and the Red River.
Regular tour rates apply for this series.
The S.S. Ruby can hold only 17 passengers at a time, so reservations are requested by calling (701) 793-RUBY or logging on to tinyurl.com/ssruby.
The ticket booth and departure location is under the First Avenue North bridge adjacent to the Hjemkomst Center, 202 1st Ave. N., Moorhead.
