Joni L. Medenwald has been hired by the Village Family Service Center as a counselor in the Moorhead office. She will also supervise the family-based program.
Medenwald earned a bachelor’s degree in social work from Minnesota State University Moorhead and a master’s degree in social work from the University of South Carolina.
She has been involved in social work since 2005. Her areas of interest are children and family, young adults, adults, autism spectrum, neurodevelopment, anxiety, depression, developmental delays, group work, family, couples, ADHD, trauma and bipolar.
BCBSND hires Aydinova as architecture director
Can Aydinova has joined Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota, Fargo, as director of architecture and chief architect in the information technology division.
He previously worked as director of enterprise architecture and was chief architect for Knowledge Universe, Portland, Ore.
Born and raised in Cyprus, Aydinova earned a bachelor’s degree in applied physics from the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. He earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix and is pursuing a doctorate in information technology from Minneapolis-based Capella University.
Moore Engineering hires 4 new employees
Moore Engineering has hired four new employees in its West Fargo office.
Luke Arnold was hired as a municipal engineer, Donny Ahlschlager as a construction engineer, Nick Dorman as a survey crew chief and John Parisien as a survey technician.
Arnold received a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from Marquette University, Milwaukee. He was previously employed as a project engineer by the city of Beloit, Wis.
Ahlschlager, a native of Underwood, Minn., earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from St. John’s University, Collegeville, Minn. He previously worked for Harris Companies in St. Paul and as a project engineer in Tampa, Fla.
Dorman attended St. Paul College and previously worked for the city of Fargo and as a survey crew chief for Egan, Field and Nowak in Minneapolis.
Parisien earned an associate degree in land surveying and civil engineering technologies from the North Dakota State College of Science, Wahpeton.
Kadrmas, Lee & Jackson hires three in Moorhead
Kadrmas, Lee & Jackson, an engineering, surveying and planning firm, has hired Steve Schilke as a senior civil engineer in the municipal group, Lonnie Fette as a computer-aided drafting and design technician with the transportation group and Cindi Bangsberg as a CADD for the municipal group. All will be working in the firm’s Moorhead office.
Schilke earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from North Dakota State University. He has 18 years of experience in site development design and municipal engineering.
Fette earned an associate degree in architectural drafting from the North Dakota State College of Science, Wahpeton, and has 10 years of design experience specializing in structural design and architectural drafting.
Bangsberg earned an associate degree in computer aided drafting from Interstate Business College. She has 10 years of related work experience in civil and architectural drafting.
IMA Healthcare adds Lisa Fuchs as dietitian
Lisa Fuchs has joined Internal Medicine Associates Healthcare in Fargo as a dietitian.
She has extensive experience as a clinic dietitian and personal trainer.
Fuchs earned a bachelor’s degree in dietetics from the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley, and a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from the University of Mary, Bismarck.
Intelligent InSites hires client training manager
Jen Pfau has been hired as a client training manager at Intelligent InSites, Fargo.
She pre-viously worked at Great Plains Software and Microsoft for 16 years.
Pfau has a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from North Dakota State University.

Dennis D. Erdmann joins Town and Country
Dennis D. Erdmann has joined Town and Country Insurance Agency at 815 25th St. S., Fargo, as an agent.
He is licensed in crop, property and casualty, life and health insurance. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in management from Valley City (N.D.) State University.
Erdmann has worked in the banking field as a loan officer for 20 years and has been in the insurance business for 21 years.
Sundog in Fargo hires five new employees
Sundog, a marketing and technology company in Fargo, has hired Dirk Monson as a Web developer, Robb Ferdelman and Margie Komp as insights analysts, Aaron Olson as a project manager and Chris Harwood as a support coordinator.
Monson has worked for 10 years as a Web developer with North Dakota State University, Minot (N.D.) Public Schools and as a freelancer. He graduated from NDSU with a degree in business administration.
Ferdelman was previously a financial analyst at Bank of the West and an investment performance analyst at Wells Fargo. He graduated from NDSU with a degree in business administration with a concentration in finance.
Komp worked as a marketing communications manager at Sopheon and Ciprico, and as a communications manager at Yamamoto Moss. She also has several years of experience in marketing and public relations, working for a variety of public and private companies in the Minneapolis area. She earned a degree in communications at St. Catherine University and a master’s degree in business communications degree from the University of St. Thomas School of Business, St. Paul
Olson has spent the past 11 years in the management industry, working as a sales and service manager and a branch manager at U.S. Bank. He graduated from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, with a degree in business and public administration and marketing.
Previously, Harwood was a service center coordinator at Blue Cross Blue Shield and a testing analyst at CoreLink Administrative Solutions. He graduated from Rasmussen College with a degree in business management with an emphasis in business administration.
Raval, Hager join Fargo’s Essentia Health
Essentia Health, Fargo, has named Dr. Mihir Raval to the hospitalist services team, and Dr. Jake Hager has joined the internal medicine department at Essentia Health South University Clinic, Fargo.
Raval received a medical degree from N.H.L. Municipal Medical College at Gujarat University in India and completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Grand Forks. He also has a master’s degree in public health.
Hager, a native of Minnewaukan, N.D., received a medical degree from and completed his residency in internal medicine at the UND School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
Two new engineers at Applied Engineering
Applied Engineering, Fargo, has hired Ryan Jacobson and Alex McKay as design engineers.
Jacobson graduated from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
McKay graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

DFC hires Schilling, Larson as consultants
DFC Consultants, Fargo, has hired Kayla Schilling as an applications consultant and Ut Larson as a customer relationship management technical consultant.
Schilling previously worked as a support engineer at Microsoft, and Larson was previously a customer relationship management technical lead with VMC Consulting Services.
