Three injured in rollover crash near Valley CityVALLEY CITY, N.D. – Three people from Virginia Beach, Va., were injured Monday after a tire blew on their SUV and the vehicle rolled, the North Dakota Highway Patrol said.
Driver Justin Poux, 28, and passengers Liana Donnelly, 22, and Louise Arcourt IV, 19, were en route from Williston to Virginia Beach at around 8 p.m. when the 1998 Ford Explorer’s left rear tire blew on Interstate 94 about four miles west of Valley City.
Poux overcorrected and lost control of the SUV, which skidded and rolled, the patrol said in a news release.
Donnelly was airlifted to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo with unknown injuries. Poux and Arcourt were taken by ground ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Valley City with minor injuries.
All three occupants were wearing their seat belts, the patrol said.
