TRADE TALK: New TMI Hospitality headquarters going up

PACES Lodging Corp. is starting construction on a building that will become the new corporate headquarters for TMI Hospitality.

The three-story structure will be at 4850 32nd Ave. S., Fargo, in the Brandt Crossing development.

TMI will lease the building from a company owned by Kevin Christianson and Tyler Brandt.

TMI now has its headquarters in several buildings in Fargo.

The new structure will house all of TMI’s more than 150 local employees.

The building is scheduled to be ready for occupancy early next year.

Veggies up for sale

The Veggie Barn has started another season of offering vegetables for sale.

Located in a parking lot in the 2300 block of South University Drive, Fargo, the Veggie Barn is operated by Amanda Schlenker.

The produce is grown on a farm near Glyndon, Minn.

The vegetable stand is open from 11 am. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday; from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Saturday; and from noon to 5 p.m., Sunday.

Cutting edge

A new hair salon, Urban Edge Salon, is under construction in the new Prairie Grove strip mall in the area of 26th Street and 53rd Avenue South in Fargo.

The salon will be operated by Casey Anderson, who specializes in hairstyling, skin care and permanent makeup.

Urban Edge is expected to open in early August.

Anderson said independent stylists will also work at the salon.
