NDSU golfer Anderson opens lead at world tournamentLIBEREC, Czech Republic – North Dakota State senior-to-be women’s golfer Amy Anderson put some space between herself and the rest of the pack in the third round of the World University Golf Championships on Thursday.
Anderson increased her lead to three shots thanks to a third-round 68. Her total of 204 leads Marta Sanz Barrio and Camila Hedberg Bertrand, both of Spain.
The United States leads the team competition at 409, which is two shots better than second-place Spain.
The tournament wraps up with the final round today.
