Cormorant Lutheran auction/sale set

CORMORANT, Minn. – Cormorant Lutheran Church holds its 18th annual auction at 10 a.m., July 14. The location is east of the church, 11 miles south of Lake Park on County Highway 5 and three-quarters of a mile west on County Highway 4.

There will also be a freewill, three-day rummage sale with lots of good stuff. The hours of the sale are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 12, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 13 and 9 a.m. July 14.

Lunch will be served by the Cormorant Lutheran Church Women and ice cream will be served by the Cormorant Lutheran Youth. The Global Missions Ministry team will be selling fair trade coffee and cookbooks.

Proceeds from the rummage and auction sales will go to World Mission, Cormorant Lutheran Projects, Cormorant Lutheran Endowment Fund and local missions. Local mission monies from the auction and rummage sale will be given to the Cormorant Lutheran Church Social Concerns Ministry Team to promote programs related to the general welfare of the congregational members and communities within a 30-mile radius of the church.
