3 StreetsAlive events scheduled for summerFARGO – StreetsAlive events are set from noon to 5 p.m. July 15 and Aug. 26 in the Fargo-Moorhead area, with a mini event to be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 21 at Eastwood Elementary School in West Fargo.
Three miles of streets in Fargo and Moorhead will be shut down to motorized traffic to encourage walking, running, biking, dancing and other movement. People may join the activities anywhere along the route.
Oak Grove Park in Fargo will serve as Activity Alley, a release stated, with free group events like zumba, yoga, hula hooping, kids fitness and more. Davy Memorial Park in Moorhead will also have physical activities.
StreetsAlive is organized by the Healthy People Initiative with Active in Moorhead and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota.
