Grand Forks police seek swim pool slasherGRAND FORKS – The Grand Forks Police Department has received five more reports of vandalism to above-ground swimming pools in the past week.
On Friday, the department received five initial complaints of damage done to pools between North Washington Street and North Columbia Road, north of University Avenue.
The pools were cut multiple times with a sharp knife, according to police.
The total damage for all 10 pools is estimated at between $3,000 and $5,000.
Police have asked that anyone with information about the vandalism or who has seen suspicious activity in the area, call police at (701) 780-8000 or Crime Stoppers (701) 746-1000.
