Former Bison pitcher Anderson signs with St. Paul Saints

ST. PAUL – Former North Dakota State pitcher Luke Anderson signed with the St. Paul Saints of the American Association, the fourth Bison player to do so since the end of the NDSU season.

Anderson went 8-3 with a 3.58 earned run average in 98 innings. The Saints play a three-game series against the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks at Newman Outdoor Field beginning Friday.

He follows Zach Wentz (RedHawks), Max Casper (Sioux Falls) and Nick Colwell (Evansville of the Frontier League) as ex-NDSU players who signed a pro contract this summer.
