Three women, two from Moorhead, hurt in Highway 75 van collisionTENNEY, Minn. – Two Moorhead women and a Walcott, N.D., woman were hurt this morning when two vans collided on U.S. Highway 75 at State Highway 55 west of Tenney in Wilkin County, the Minnesota State Patrol reported.
A westbound 2000 Dodge Caravan driven by Patrick C. Wilson of Paynesville was at a stop sign on Highway 55 when it pulled out in front of a southbound 2005 Caravan driven by Mari Wanzek, 43, of Moorhead, the patrol stated in a news release.
The van driven by Wanzek spun, went off the roadway and hit a light pole, the patrol said.
Wanzek and her passengers, 63-year-old Chrysann Daugherty of Moorhead and 54-year-old Janelle Daugherty of Walcott, sustained minor injuries. All three were wearing seat belts, the patrol said.
Wilson and his passenger, Daniel Foote, 43, of Carlos, were not injured.
Tenney is about 60 miles south of Moorhead.
