Fort Seward Wagon Train crossing the ND prairie

JAMESTOWN, N.D. — More than 150 people from 18 states and Canada are traveling back in time in North Dakota this week.

The 43rd annual Fort Seward Wagon Train is giving participants a pioneer family experience on the prairie. The group is making a six-day, 79-mile trek from Jamestown to Fullerton in covered wagons and on horseback.

The trip culminates Saturday with Fullerton's 125th celebration parade.
