No arrests made in Traill County checkpointFARGO – No arrests were made in a North Dakota Highway Patrol sobriety checkpoint in Traill County from 8 to 11 p.m. on Saturday.
The Highway Patrol saw 31 vehicles pass through the checkpoint at the intersection of Highway 200 and Highway 18.
One driver was tested for impairment.
Five troopers from the Southeast Region participated in the event.
A patrol saturation from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m. was conducted in conjunction with the checkpoint and yielded one driving under the influence of alcohol arrest, 12 traffic citations and eight written warnings were issued. There were no alcohol-related crashes investigated during the saturation.
