Discovery Benefits in Fargo hires five

Discovery Benefits in Fargo has hired Brent Hammer as a participant services specialist, Caleb Hoag and Valerie Due as consumer services specialists, and Alicia Raymond and Ashley Ortiz as claims adjudicators.

Stanton joins staff of Prairie St. John’s

Barbara Stanton has joined the staff of Prairie St. John’s, Fargo. Her clinical work is focused on children and adolescents on the autism spectrum, along with their caregivers.

Stanton has a doctoral degree in counseling psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and master’s and bachelor’s degrees in child development family science, marital and family therapy, psychology and sociology from North Dakota State University.

She is a licensed professional clinical counselor and a licensed marriage and family therapist.

Graham, Wettstein join Red River Software

Red River Software, Fargo, has hired Amy Graham and Betty Wettstein as software support technicians.

Graham graduated from Minnesota State Community and Technical College, Moorhead, and previously worked in customer service at Bank of the West and SEI.

Wettstein has an accounting degree from the North Dakota State College of Science, Wahpeton. She previously worked for Farmers Union Oil, Lidgerwood, N.D., and Henry’s Foods.

Spine Specialists names area patient liaison

Judy Whittlesey, Fargo, has been appointed patient liaison/representative for German Spine Specialists of Hattingen, Germany.

She will represent North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Idaho, Nebraska and Missouri.

German Spine Specialists specializes in artificial disc replacement surgery in the cervical and lumbar spine.

As a patient liaison, Whittlesey will educate patients on alternatives to spinal fusion.

Western State Bank promotes Jensen to VP

Mark Jensen has been promoted to vice president/credit department manager at Western State Bank, West Fargo.

Jensen has more than 15 years of banking experience in commercial lending, credit analysis, training and credit review. He has been with Western since 2006.

Originally from Dickinson, N.D., he graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and economics. He also earned a master’s degree in business administration from NDSU.

March of Dimes names new community director

Katie Soyring, Moorhead, has joined the March of Dimes as community director.

Soyring attended Minnesota State University Moorhead and has been an advocate for children for many years.

Northwestern Bank hires Kaia Askelson

Northwestern Bank has hired Kaia Askelson as a customer service representative.

She work at the bank’s branch in Ulen, Minn.

Intelligent InSites hires release manager

Sue Dreckman has been hired as a release manager at Intelligent InSites, Fargo.

She previously worked for CoreLink Administrative Solutions as a release management team lead and for Microsoft for 13 years as a service release manager.

She has a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from Valley City (N.D.) State University.

First Class Mortgage in Fargo hires three

First Class Mortgage in Fargo has hired Chad Skarperud and Scott Philbrick as mortgage consultants and Jessica Weigel as a mortgage processor.

Skarperud has 13 years of experience in the mortgage industry and attended Indian River Community College and the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks.

Philbrick earned a bachelor’s degree from North Dakota State University and has 15 years of experience in the mortgage industry.

Weigel has eight years of consumer loan experience and earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics with minors in accounting and business administration from NDSU.

Choice Financial promotes Brent Herman

Brent Herman of Choice Financial, Fargo, has been promoted to deputy chief credit officer.

Herman joined Choice Financial in 2009 as a credit analyst and most recently was vice president of business banking.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting and finance from Ohio University, Athens.

TMI Hospitality promotes Sutton

TMI Hospitality, Fargo, has promoted Deena Sutton to management trainer.

Sutton, a California native, has more than 16 years of experience in the hospitality industry.

She most recently served as general manager at the Fairfield Inn, Lafayette, Ind., which is owned and operated by TMI Hospitality.

Seiner hired as family therapist at The Village

Erin Seiner has joined The Village Family Service Center as a family-based therapist in the Fargo office.

Seiner graduated from the University of South Dakota, Vermillion, with a master’s degree in community counseling.

She is a licensed professional counselor in North Dakota and South Dakota, and is also a national certified counselor.

Nardini Fire Equipment hires new service tech

Thomas Hood has joined Nardini Fire Equipment, Fargo, as service technician.

Originally from Redding, Calif., Hood earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations from California State University, Chico.

He previously worked for the state of California.

Ulteig Fargo office hires five new employees

Ulteig in Fargo has hired April Dennis as a business development manager, Nancy Heim as a recruiter, John Arnquist as a software developer, Justin Fraase as a brand marketing specialist and Jeremiah Johnson as a proposal coordinator.

Dennis earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing management from Bellevue (Neb.) University. She worked for Ulteig from 2008 to 2010 as a business development manager, and most recently worked for Pedigree Technologies as director of marketing operations.

Heim spent the previous 30 years working for DMS Health Technologies, with the last eight years as a recruiter.

Arnquist earned a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from Minnesota State University Moorhead. He previously worked for U.S. Bank as an assistant vice president and also worked for Ulteig for three years as a software developer.

Fraase earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communications and a master’s degree in business administration from North Dakota State University. He previously worked as marketing director for Fair Hills Resort and Wildflower Golf Course, Detroit Lakes, Minn.

Johnson graduated from MSUM with a bachelor’s degree in English and mass communications. He previously worked at Butler Machinery Co. as marketing communications coordinator.

Total Imaging hires Jensen as sales assistant

Total Imaging, Fargo, has hired Erika Jensen as a sales assistant. Jensen has several years of experience organizing accounts and databases and working with customers.

A native of Casselton, N.D., she previously worked as an office assistant at Remington Seeds, was an executive assistant at ReMax Legacy Realty and Designer Homes, Fargo, and most recently was a cash applications processor at Volt.

Dorn joins New Outlook Salon in Fargo as stylist

David Dorn has joined New Outlook Salon, 1402 25th St. S., Fargo, as a stylist.

Dorn has over 20 years of experience in hair coloring and cutting, and specializes in men’s haircuts.

He is a graduate of Josef’s School of Hair Design and Moler Barber College, both in Fargo.
