Adams, N.D., girl seriously injured in ATV accidentGRAND FORKS – A 15-year-old girl from Adams, N.D., suffered serious head injuries after her all-terrain vehicle was clipped by a pickup in town, according to the state Highway Patrol.
The girl, who was not named, was taken first to First Care Hospital in Park River, N.D., before being flown to a Fargo hospital.
Both the ATV and the pickup, a 2010 Ford driven by a 60-year-old man, were eastbound on Third Street in Adams. The ATV was passing the Ford but, as they approached Farup Street, the Ford made a left turn and clipped the rear of the ATV, causing it to roll and throw the girl.
