Convoy of Hope planned for Moorhead June 30MOORHEAD – Funds and volunteers are still needed for the Red River Valley Convoy of Hope, a one-day blitz planned June 30 to connect people with the resources they need in the community.
Organizers of the event expect 3,000 to 5,000 attendees and 35,000 to 40,000 pounds of food to be provided.
Eight hundred to 1,000 volunteers are expected to take part of the event, where guests can take advantage of health services, have a family portrait taken, get free haircuts and connect with a local church if they want, a news release stated.
