Animal cruelty petition to circulate SaturdayFARGO – North Dakotans to Stop Animal Cruelty will be collecting signatures for its petition at West Acres Mall from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday near the customer service area on the north side.
The petition seeks a reasonable animal cruelty law, a news release stated.
The ballot measure would make the most extreme forms of cruelty in North Dakota a Class C felony when inflicted upon a dog, cat or horse, according to the news release.
