Sobriety checkpoint set in Stark County

DICKINSON, N.D. – The North Dakota Highway Patrol will be operating a sobriety checkpoint at a pre-determined location in Stark County the weekend of June 22-23, the patrol said in a release.

The patrol said this year 53 people have been killed in traffic crashes on North Dakota roadways, with 28 of them in alcohol-related incidents. The primary purpose of the sobriety checkpoint is to deter drunken driving, the patrol said.
