West Fargo police seek public’s help in hit-and-run crashes

WEST FARGO – Police here are asking for the public’s help in finding the vehicles responsible for two hit-and-run crashes over the weekend.

The first crash occurred Sunday morning at Pizza Patrol. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a gold Chevy Impala, possibly with rear damage, police said in a news release.

Police said the driver and passengers of the vehicle were in the store and paid cash for a pizza around 4 a.m. It’s believed that they inspected the car after striking the vehicle, then left the scene.

The second crash happened late Saturday or early Sunday in the 400 block of Seventh Street West. Police said the suspect vehicle left behind several front-end parts, including a gray- or pewter-colored bumper, possibly with teal transfer paint.

Police said it appears the vehicle is a pickup or SUV with severe front-end damage to the passenger side.

Anyone with information about either incident is asked to call the West Fargo Police Department at (701) 433-5500.
