Two DUI arrests made during Ransom County saturation eventLISBON, N.D. – The North Dakota Highway Patrol arrested two people for driving under the influence of alcohol during a two-day saturation event throughout the county, the patrol said in a news release.
Five troopers saturated the county from the evening hours of June 15 to early Sunday morning, resulting in 35 citations and 27 written warnings from traffic stops.
The troopers made two DUI arrests, six drug-related arrests and five arrests of minors for possession/consumption of alcohol.
The patrol also conducted a sobriety checkpoint in Ransom County in conjunction with the Ransom County Sheriff’s Office from Saturday night into Sunday morning. No drivers were arrested or tested for impairment as a result of the checkpoint.
