No expiration date on BibleWhen Bishop Fulton Sheen was asked what he thought about the estimated 30 percent of Catholics who don’t believe in the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist, he responded: “One hundred percent of Catholics believe in the real presence, the others mistakenly believe that they are Catholic.”
Thank you, Monsignor Michael Foltz, for reminding us we are to follow the unchanging church, not follow the changing culture. When you don’t agree with the teachings of the Catholic Church, you either admit that you are to learn from its unwavering 2,000 years of tradition and change your ways or move on like the 32,000 Protestant religions have.
The Bible doesn’t come with an expiration date.
