West Fargo convenience store hit by robber with crowbar

WEST FARGO – Police say a young male with a crowbar robbed the All-Stop convenience store in West Fargo early Tuesday.

The robber did not wear a mask, Officer Adam Gustafson said.

A male clerk was alone in the store at 950 13th Ave. E. when the robber walked in at 4:25 a.m., threatened him with a crowbar and demanded money, Gustafson said.

The suspect escaped with an undisclosed amount of money.

He dumped the crowbar outside the front door before hopping on a bicycle and riding east on 13th Avenue toward Fargo, Gustafson said.

Police recovered the crowbar, Gustafson said. Fargo and West Fargo officer searched for the suspect but didn’t find him.

The clerk wasn’t injured in the robbery.

The suspect is described as a Native American male, 15 to 17 years old, wearing a gray, long-sleeve sweater and blue jeans.
