Wyndmere man shoots himself in wrist while cleaning rifleWYNDMERE, N.D. – Authorities say a Wyndmere man accidentally shot himself in the wrist while cleaning his .22-caliber rifle on Friday night.
Zackary Alan Stahn, 20, was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Breckenridge with non-life-threatening injuries, the Richland County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
The incident happened at about 11 p.m. Friday at 442 4th St. in Wyndmere and was reported to the sheriff’s office by a friend of Stahn’s at 10:28 a.m. Saturday, the release stated.
The incident remains under investigation.
