Kirsten Baesler for state DPI

Kirsten Baesler is a fresh new voice for the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction. As I have had the opportunity to speak to her over the past couple of months, it is not hard to hear her excitement for education and our children. She will bring a lot of energy and new ideas to the job.

Baesler realizes that each child is unique and may learn in different ways. She supports being open to alternative teaching methods to help every single student reach their potential. She wants to see all of our students succeed in life and believes that education is the foundation of that success. Students are her No. 1 priority.

Baesler has 21 years of experience in public education. She has served as a media specialist, a teacher and as assistant principal in the Bismarck school system. This has given her hands-on experience with students and administration. At the current time she is serving as president of the Mandan School Board. These positions have given her a unique view of what the needs are of schools and the students.

I will be voting for Baesler in the primary election on Tuesday and urge you to join me.
