Cramer doesn’t deserve support

I want to express my disappointment in how Kevin Cramer has handled the U.S. House race. His approach caused me to lose a considerable amount of respect for him.

Cramer decided to skip the endorsement process of the North Dakota Republican Party at its state convention, even though he is a former chairman and has received their endorsement several times in the past. The conventioneers get to know the candidates and decide which one will best serve North Dakota in the U.S. House. Cramer was apparently afraid that he would not receive the endorsement out of the excellent candidates at convention.

If Cramer had won the endorsement at convention, I would have supported him 100 percent, just like I would have any of the other candidates. He has decided to try to win in the primary on his name recognition and with his out-of-state money.

Don’t tell me that Cramer has “paid his dues,” or that “it’s his turn.” He didn’t earn the right.
