Time for change on school boardFrom this voter’s standpoint, we need a critical change in the Fargo School Board’s direction. The board has lost community support by being aloof from the need for approval by the people who pay the bills with their taxes.
This Bluestem business has undermined the credibility of the board. We need to move ahead by getting candidates elected with some business sense.
As someone who has worked in this district’s middle schools, high schools and alternative settings the past three years, I know that our hardworking teachers, support staff and administrators deserve board members with consistent priorities and policies.
I know and have great confidence that Jim Ebsen will work hard to earn back trust for our schools, while making a commitment to refocus the board’s vision on its main mission.
Support Ebsen. His proven experience in education, business and financial work are the qualities we badly need in our school board.
