The Boys & Girls Club of the Red River Valley/Youth Commission, Fargo, has received a $3,000 grant from Dakota Medical Foundation, Fargo, to support the collection of data for an Active Lives in After School Time grant application.
The club has also received an $8,070 grant from the Taco Bell Foundation to assist in the recruitment and implementation of the Keystone Club for Teens.
Grant awarded for JA classroom program
Junior Achievement, Fargo, has received a $3,000 grant from RBC Wealth Management Foundation USA.
The funds will be used to help Junior Achievement’s elementary classroom program which teaches students about financial literacy, workforce readiness and entrepreneurship.
Ronald McDonald House receives paint donation
The Ronald McDonald House of the Red River Valley at 1234 Broadway, Fargo, received more than 50 gallons of Benjamin Moore paints valued at approximately $4,000.
The Benjamin Moore donation is being used to give the interior of the 9,000 square-foot facility a makeover.
Local foundation awards $5K grant to FirstLink
The Alex Stern Family Foundation has awarded a $5,000 grant to FirstLink, Fargo.
The funds will help support FirstLink’s many programs, including Helpline, Suicide Line, Suicide Education Outreach, a suicide survivor’s support group, the volunteer center and the Giving Tree of Hope.
Essentia Foundation receives training grant
The Essentia Health Regional Foundation has been awarded a $5,500 training grant from Dakota Medical Foundation, Fargo.
The grant will help the foundation’s fundraising efforts in the west region which provides primary and specialty health care services to eastern North Dakota and western Minnesota.
