Former Forum reporter Chuck Klosterman named NY Times Magazine’s new ethicist columnist

NEW YORK CITY – Wyndmere, N.D., native and former Forum reporter Chuck Klosterman has been named the New York Times Magazine’s new Ethicist columnist, the magazine reported on its blog Thursday.

Klosterman, currently living in Brooklyn, has written for the magazine in the past, and currently contributes to ESPN’s Grantland. His eighth book, “I Wear the Black Hat,” will be published next year.

On the blog, Klosterman said the position “seems like the most interesting job possible. It examines actual problems and asks straightforward questions about how people should or should not live.”

Klosterman’s first column will appear in Sunday’s magazine.
