Favorite Things: Heidi's favorite people to follow on Pinterest
FARGO - Like seemingly every other 20-something in the world, I am addicted to Pinterest.
The latest internet craze – a virtual pin board that lets you organize, share and, in my case obsess, over all the great stuff the internet has to offer – has made my life easier in many ways but also served as the newest form of online time suck.
The only proof you need is to pull up my page (@heidireisenauer) and note the almost 3,600 pins on 27 different boards to know my free time during the past year or so has been largely dedicated to the site.
Here are a few of my favorite fellow “Pinheads” I recommend you follow:
Theresa O’Day, owner of Proper & Prim boutique in downtown Fargo, curates a Pinterest page that rivals her shop in its cool factor.
And while you’re at it, feel free to follow SheSays (@forumshesays). We post great ideas from our readers and lots of our own original content.
I’d be remiss in my obsessing if I left out the queen of creativity, Martha Stewart. Her magazine’s Pinterest page is full of amazing recipes and cute craft ideas. It’s the first place I go to answer the what’s-for-dinner question or for holiday DIY ideas.
Seattle-based designer and blogger, Moorea Seal has a similar fan following. She has great posts on jewelry and fashion finds.
Fargo photographer and all-around trendy gal Britta Trygstad was one of my first Pinterest pals. Her pins include fantastic modern style, great photography, quirky DIYs and fun sewing projects.
I almost always repin everything from Kate at Wit + Delight, a Minneapolis-based design blog. Kate has her finger and the pulse of everything trendy from fashion to food. And I’m not alone in my pinner worship; she has almost 725,000 followers.
