GivingPoint, a Fargo-based fundraising firm, has launched the GivingPoint.Rewards card fundraising program.
The program forms community coalitions that leverage the interests of nonprofits, merchants and customer cardholders to create a gift rewards model.
To date, organizations in the area building community coalitions of merchants and consumer cardholders include NDSU Division of Fine Arts, Bonanzaville and Post 2 American Legion Baseball.
Jamestown, N.D., area coalitions include St. John’s Academy and Jamestown College.
Robert Gibb & Sons opens Bismarck office
Robert Gibb & Sons has opened an office in Bismarck.
Chris Moothart has been named general manager of the new office. He has worked in the plumbing and heating trade for many years, including 10 years in sales/estimating and management and 16 years with Robert Gibb & Sons.
The full service mechanical and plumbing contractor also operates offices in Fargo, Williston, N.D., and Peoria, Ariz.
New office park under construction in Fargo
Paces Lodging, Fargo, has started construction of the Brandt Crossing Office Park between 33rd and 36th Avenue South in Fargo.
Completion of the initial 10,537-square-foot office building is slated for this fall. The entire new office park, when complete, will offer more than 125,000 square feet of office space.
Levin moves practice to Eyes on 43rd
Daniel Levin has moved his optometry practice to Dr. Tufte’s Eyes on 43rd, 1695 43rd St. S., Fargo.
Levin was formerly associated with Eye Professionals in Fargo and is a graduate of the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago.
He will continue to operate a full-scope optometry practice that includes general exams, contact lens care, ocular disease care and pre- and post-operative care of surgical patients.
Dorn & Co. expands into Minneapolis market
Dorn & Co., a securities broker/dealer in Fergus Falls, Minn., is opening an office in the Carlson Center in Minnetonka, Minn.
Matthew Dorn will manage the new office. He has more than 17 years of experience in the securities industry.
