Chad Peterson for Cass boardFor nearly 12 years I’ve had the honor and privilege of serving the residents of Cass County on the County Commission. With my final term ending, the voters of Cass County will have the opportunity to elect a new commissioner for District 1. In the upcoming June 12 primary, the two candidates receiving the highest number of votes in each contested district will advance to the November general election.
With many challenges and opportunities facing Cass County, I’m pleased to see a number of fine candidates are vying for the District 1 seat. However, I would like to take a moment to single out one exceptional candidate for consideration, Chad Peterson.
Peterson has the right kind of experience to make an excellent addition to the Cass County Commission. He is a successful small-business owner with more than a decade of dedicated service on numerous Cass County committees and boards. Peterson was a member of the Cass County Planning Commission during the development of the County Comprehensive Plan and currently serves as chairman of the Cass County Park Board. He has also served on the Cass County Comprehensive Review and School Reorganization committees.
Peterson possesses the kind of background that makes him stand out as a truly fine candidate for the Cass County Commission. In the upcoming June primary Peterson has my vote for Cass County Commission District 1.
