Sandman earns Hawley GOP nominationHAWLEY, Minn. – Paul Sandman was unanimously endorsed to be the Republican candidate for House District 4B earlier this month.
Sandman is from Hawley and built a home on the farmstead of his great-grandfather who purchased the property in 1891. Sandman will face Democratic candidate Paul Marquart.
He and his wife, Connie, have two children. Sandman has worked in small businesses for the past 20 years after earning a bachelor’s degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
Sandman stated he want to help small business so young people can stay in the area. Sandman is an avid deer hunter. He pledges to serve House District 4B to the best of his ability by listening carefully and attentively to the residents of the District.
Attendance at Hawley’s May 12 endorsing convention was more than twice what was expected.
