Frost advisory issued for North Dakota, Minnesota

GRAND FORKS - The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory for northeast North Dakota and northwest Minnesota for late tonight through tomorrow morning, with temperatures dropping into the 30s after midnight this evening until 8 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Sensitive outdoor plants could be impacted by the lower temperatures and frost. Gardeners in the advisory areas are urged to cover their plants to prevent them from dying.

The counties under advisory are West Polk, Norman, Kittson, Roseau, Lake of the Woods, West Marshall, East Marshall, North Beltrami, Pennington, Red Lake, East Polk, North Clearwater, South Beltrami, Mahnomen, South Clearwater, Hubbard, Towner, Cavalier, Pembina, Benson, Ramsey, Eastern Walsh, Eddy, Nelson, Grand Forks, Griggs, Steele, Traill, Western Walsh.

Including the cities of Crookston, East Grand Forks, Halstad, Hallcok, Roseau, Baudette, Warren, Newfolden, Red Lake, Thief River Falls, Red Lake Falls, Fosston, Bagley, Bemidji, Mahnomen, Lake Itasca, Park Rapids, Cando, Langdon, Cavalier, Maddock, Leeds, Devils Lake, Grafton, New Rockford, Lakota, Grand Forks, Cooperstown, Finley, Mayville, Adams.
