Bison golfer Anderson wins Dinah Shore AwardFARGO – North Dakota State junior Amy Anderson was named the winner of the Dinah Shore Trophy Award at the National Golf Coaches Association banquet on Friday.
The award is a cooperative effort between the LPGA Foundation, the Friends of Golf and the Nabisco Dinah Shore, one of the four major women’s championships and the largest contributor to the Dinah Shore Scholarship Fund. Golfers must have a 3.2 grade point average or better, maintain a scoring average of 78 or better and have demonstrated leadership skills and/or extraordinary community affairs work.
Last year’s winner was Pia Halbig of the University of California.
