Sheyenne River Bridge construction under wayENDERLIN, N.D. – The North Dakota Department of Transportation will begin a maintenance project on the Sheyenne River Bridge west of here on June 4.
During the project, N.D. Highway 46 will be closed for about 19 miles, from N.D. Highway 32 west to N.D. Highway 1.
Construction involves structural rehabilitation, resurfacing, grading, abutment and guardrail work. Motorists will have to take an alternative route during the project.
The northeast detour will begin at the intersection of N.D. Highway 46 and N.D. Highway 32. The southeast detour will begin at N.D. Highway 32 and N.D. Highway 27. The northwest detour will begin at N.D. Highway 46 and N.D. Highway 1. The southwest detour will begin at N.D. Highway 27 and N.D. Highway 1.
The project is expected to be complete by the end of August.
