Nursing conference slated in Fort YatesFORT YATES, N.D. – North Dakota State University’s Department of Nursing is sponsoring a conference on the future of American Indian nursing today and Wednesday in Fort Yates.
About 50 nurses, health care professionals and administrators and nursing program faculty and administrators will attend.
They will work on developing strategies for recruiting American Indian students into the state’s nursing programs, retaining them and helping them transition into the workforce, according to a news release.
